Morning Session
MARK-MAKING
10 am - 12 noon EST
Marks as Value: working with lights and darks
Marks as Volume: breaking into dimension
Marks as Texture: enrich your language
Lunch break: 12 noon to 1:30 pm
Afternoon Session
INTRO TO COLOR - LIMITED COLOR
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm EST
Color as Line: beyond the coloring book
Color as Shape: drawn to paint
Color as Focal Point: taking charge
Supply List
We understand that your supplies may be limited - these are suggested only.
Basically anything that can make a line and shape on paper will work!
A sketchbook or several sheets of printer paper
For the Morning:
A fountain or felt tip pen, or sharpie - something that will give you a good black line
A graphite pencil (preferably soft) or charcoal pencil
For the Afternoon:
Crayons (Crayola is fine) or a few colored pencils or markers
A small watercolor pan set or small set of Nupastels for colored shape
